Galgotias University’s Law Library foster students' development into ethical, effective members of the legal community via the integration of teaching, research, and public service; and to encourage the development of national and worldwide leadership in the improvement of the law and legal institutions. When planning for new materials to add to the library's collection, SOL Library Committee & librarians prioritise acquiring both primary and secondary sources pertaining to the law and related disciplines. Provides access to digital contents 24X7 from inside and outside the campus through IP ranges of the University and remote access services, with a primary focus on commentaries, reporting and academic journals, reports, proceedings, legislative & constitutional material, dissertations and theses, moot memorials, encyclopedias, digests, and many more. In order to adapt to the changing needs of patrons and staff in the era of online research and education, the library has opened a legal information resource through OPAC & Galgotias Univeristy eLibrary powered by Refread as remote access platform. Thirty high-end desktops running Microsoft operating systems, as well as hefty printers and scanners, are available with law library; a designated area is also available for laptop users.
