1.1 Grant of Admission Merit-Scholarship
The scholarships to be awarded will be announced through Admission Notifications that are issued to the public at various times during the year.
1.2 Amount of Scholarship
1.2.1 Academic Brilliance Scholarship

1.2.2 Entrance Examination Scholarship
1.2.3 Ex-Student/Alumni/Old Student Scholarship
10% tuition fee waiver as a scholarship for Ex-Student/Alumni/old student of Galgotias University obtaining admission to higher studies, provided the applicant must have secured a CGPA of 6.0 or more in their qualifying degree/diploma (without any back paper).
In case of gap is more than 3 years between the qualifying exam & seeking admission in Galgotias University, this scholarship will not be granted.
Note: No Application for On-Admission Scholarship (Clause 1.1, 1.2 & 1.3) will be entertained after the last date of admission.
1.2.4 Procedure of Grant of Admission Merit Scholarship
The scholarship will be awarded at the time of admission. The admission department must obtain prior approval from the appropriate authority for granting the scholarship under the specified category, as well as the prescribed level of marks, percentage, percentile, or grades. The department will then verify the mark sheets to determine the category under which the student qualifies for the scholarship.
1.3 Continuation of on Admission Merit-Scholarship
A student will be eligible to get the Scholarship of 10% for the next year(s) if he/she is able to maintain a CGPA of 9.0 or above, has no backlog of carry-over papers at the end of the previous year, and maintains a minimum attendance of 75%.
1.3.1 Procedure for Grant of Continuation of Admission Merit Scholarship
The scholarships will be continued on the Application form submitted by the student along with the verified copies of results by the controller of examination if the student fulfil the conditions prescribed in clause 1.3.
1.3.2 Discontinuation of Admission Merit-Scholarship
The scholarship shall be discontinued at any time during a programme, from the date as directed by the Vice Chancellor, under the following conditions
Scholarship once discontinued will be restored when the student has raised his/her CGPA to 9.0 or above, has cleared all back papers, and maintains a minimum attendance of 75%.
Note: If A student falls in condition C, the scholarship will not be continued.
Galgotias University aims to provide foundational support to young sportspersons and recognize their achievements at the International, National and State levels. Along with the financial support, the scholarship will also focus on encouraging the budding talents by proper mentorship as and when required.
This scholarship is aimed for students who are residents of India. Galgotias University offers sports scholarships with the objective to encourage extraordinary talent in different type of sports like Cricket, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Badminton, Football, Athletics, Archery, Karate, taekwondo, Basketball, Kabaddi, etc.

To qualify for the sports scholarship, candidates must secure a minimum of 14 marks in the Sports Certificates component and a minimum of 30 marks (50%) in the Sports Trials component.

Annexure: Application for Defence and CAPF Financial Aid
To encourage students to achieve higher performance during their studies in an academic programme, the University has instituted Merit scholarships to recognize their academic achievements.
These scholarships will be awarded every year to second, third, fourth and fifth year students after the declaration of the results of winter semester of the previous year. This scholarship will be for a period of one year duration.
4.1 Merit Scholarships
At the end of each academic year, a merit list consisting of the first second and third rankers in each batch and programme of study will be prepared on the basis of CGPA for consideration for merit scholarships.
To receive favourable consideration for any merit scholarship, the student should have passed all the examinations in the first attempt. The number of Merit Scholarships will be determined as follows.

4.2 Amount of Scholarship
The amount of Merit Scholarship during the programme will be equal to 30% of the tuition fee payable by the student in the subsequent year and will be rounded off to next multiple of Rs.100/-.
4.3 Procedure for Grant of Scholarship
The Merit scholarship will be granted for the subsequent year of study and will be adjusted in the next installment of fees to be paid.
4.4 Discontinuation of Merit Scholarship
The scholarship shall be discontinued at any time during a programme, with effect from the date as approved by the Vice Chancellor, under the following conditions:
(a) The student has been found to engage in unfair practices in examinations or has been debarred from appearing in the examinations for any valid reason.
(b) If the Head of the Department reports that the student has been charged with misconduct, misbehavior, gross indiscipline, incident of ragging, use of drugs or narcotics and the charges have been established or found in any activity which breaks the Student Code of Conduct.
35% fee waiver as a Scholarship to ward/Spouse of University staff.
50% tuition fee waiver as a scholarship for the student whose both parents are no more.
15% tuition fee waiver as a scholarship for students whose family consists only one parent.
