Galgotias University facilitates its faculties and students in conducting research. Faculties and research scholars can avail access to two software - Ithenticate and Urkund - for checking the plagiarism of their research articles. The University encourages its faculties to apply for sponsored projects under various schemes of ICSSR and UGC. The University provides seed money to its faculties and Ph.D. scholars to promote research in their areas. Consultancy projects are assigned to focus on applied research.
University Centre of Research and Development organizes workshops time-to-time to make aware faculties about identifying predatory and cloned journals. The Centre promotes research among faculties and enhances the quality of research and its dissemination. This Centre informs faculty staff of new and existing financing initiatives. It works as an intermediary system and helps researchers to submit grant applications by providing information and logistical support.
The University is equipped with a highly enriched library having access facilities to all the leading journals of the world, including Scopus-indexed journals, to enable incubates to refer to their research-related work. The Central Library has access to various paid journals like Taylor & Francis and Sage publications. Also, the library provides research assistance to research scholars and new faculties to publish their work in various reputed journals. Seminars are conducted to give information to the faculties about recent e-resources and online journals included in the library’s databases. The library requests faculties to give a list of books which can be purchased for the library and can be used by faculties for their further research.
