Purpose

To ensure a safe and environmentally responsible campus community.

Policy

Galgotias University implements complete plastic ban in university to mitigate the environmental risks due to use of plastic. A Committee is formed at central level to monitor the ban. Banners on "Say No to Plastics" are well placed in the university campus.

Compliance:

1. Educational workshops and awareness campaigns about the negative effects of single-use plastics in the University.
2.  Outlaw the use of plastics inside the building.
3. Encourage students to run comparable initiatives in their communities.
4. Reduction in the use of disposable water bottles.
5. Awareness about campus alternatives to plastic bottles
