Launching a New Era: SALTM "Bootcamp: Charting your Future!"
On 4th September 2025, the School of Aviation, Logistics and Tourism Management (SALTM) at Galgotias University officially commenced its journey with a high-energy event titled "Bootcamp: Charting your Future!". Held at the New Auditorium, C-Block, this inaugural bootcamp formally welcomed the first batch of students as they transitioned into their new specialised academic home.
The event served as a comprehensive introduction to the school’s ambitious mission, designed to inspire the next generation of industry innovators.
Key Highlights and Interactive Sessions
The bootcamp was structured to provide both strategic vision and practical guidance for the students:
- University Support & Institutional Vision: The Pro-Vice Chancellor- Prof. (Dr.) Avadesh Kumar opened the session with a passionate address regarding the critical growth of the Aviation, Logistics, and Tourism sectors. He assured the students and faculty of the University’s full support for SALTM's specialized initiatives.
- SALTM's Strategic Roadmap: Capt. Vaibhav Goutham Suresh, Director of SALTM, delivered the Welcome Address, where he unveiled the bold Vision and Mission of the newly formed school. He detailed the innovative processes and protocols designed to provide a truly industry-ready education.
- Industry Deep Dive: Faculty experts provided essential insights into the Latest Trends currently shaping Tourism, Logistics & Supply Chain, and Aviation globally.
- Engagement & Dialogue: The session included a full introduction of the specialized faculty and a dedicated Student Townhall Meeting. This allowed the Director to interact one-on-one with students, addressing concerns and clarifying the "new way forward" for the school.
