Dr. Uzma Manzoor holds M.Sc. and Ph.D.(Ag) Entomology from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh and is the recipient of three university gold medals for academic excellence. She is an expert in the areas of Plant Protection, Entomology and Integrated Pest Management. Prior to joining Galgotias University, she worked for more than 8 years as Assistant Professor & Programme Coordinator, School of Agricultural Sciences, Sharda University and Professional at AICRP (Honey Bees and Pollinators), IARI-ICAR, New Delhi.
She has organized various international conferences, national seminars and eminent talks and participated in various conferences and seminars. She has worked very closely with the best of the mentors in the field of Agricultural Education on aspects of ICAR 5th Deans Committee Implementation, Development of Incubation Centers, NAAC, ICAR Accreditation, ARIIA, NIRF, Research and Development and IIC, MHRD. She has worked on development of curriculum and Self Study Reports for various accreditation processes like NAAC and ICAR.
She has also completed advanced level training of the Institutions Innovation Cell of MHRD, GOI to boost entrepreneurship amongst students. For gaining expertise in pedagogy and research methodology she has undergone 5 Faculty Development Programmes, 3 MOOCs and 5 Training Programmes.
