Dr. Devika Sharma is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science, School of Liberal Education at Galgotias University, Greater NOIDA. She has a diverse teaching and research experience spanning 12.5 years. Dr. Devika has taught Political Science, Public Administration and Public Policy to post graduate and under graduate students. Prior to joining Galgotias University, she taught at Amity University, NOIDA for seven months and at the University of Delhi for 10.5 years. Before joining teaching she worked as a Research Fellow in CUTS Institute for Regulation and Competition (CIRC), New Delhi, a sister organisation of CUTS International, one of India’s oldest NGOs having its presence across the globe. 

Dr. Devika Sharma completed her PhD from National Law University, Jodhpur on the subject ‘Public Policy and its Impact on Governance in India – A Case Study of Liberalization Policy’. PhD degree was received in January 2011.

Dr. Devika was actively engaged in Admission Committees at Ramjas College, University of Delhi and led the BA(programme) Category C admissions at the college.She was also a member of the Students’ Information System Committees at Ramjas College, University of Delhi. She was heading the IQAC at Amity Institute of Public Policy, Amity University, NOIDA. She was also heading the Study abroad programme (SAP) at Amity Institute of Public Policy, Amity University, NOIDA. Dr. Devika wasin-charge of MoUs and collaborations at Amity Institute of Public Policy, Amity University, NOIDA. 

She completed faculty development programme (FDP) organized by Amity Institute of Environmental Studies on “Sustainable Development,” in June2023. Dr Devika completed FDP on “Research Methods in Social Sciences” jointly organized by JNU, New Delhi’s Jean Monnet module and Amity Institute of Social Sciences in June, 2023.
