International Youth Day

School of Education, Galgotias University, Greater Noida organized a special day assembly celebration for its Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) on International Youth Day on 06.08.2024. The event aimed to empower young minds and recognize their potential to drive positive change.
The celebration consisted of speeches, quizzes, and slogan writing activity all centered around the theme of International Youth Day. All these activities were performed by the third-semester B.Ed. students of session 2024-25. The assembly was conducted by Nupoor Rath with words on International Youth Day and its importance. Nidhi Sinha delivered inspiring speeches on the significance of International Youth Day, highlighting the challenges faced by young people and the importance of involving them in decision-making processes. They emphasized the need for quality education, skill development, and equal opportunities for all.
Students participated in a slogan writing activity, showcasing their creativity and passion for youth empowerment. The slogans emphasized the importance of youth involvement in creating a sustainable future, aligning with SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) A quiz competition was conducted to test students' knowledge about the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). The quiz encouraged students to think critically about the role of youth in achieving these goals. The International Youth Day celebration was a resounding success, inspiring students to become active contributors to sustainable development. By engaging with the SDGs, our students demonstrated their commitment to creating a better future for all. We look forward to continuing this momentum and empowering our youth to drive positive change.
