India Expo Mart Visit, SEMICON-2024

On 11th September 2024, a group of enthusiastic students from DEECE and CSE, Galgotias University had the privilege of attending the SEMICON, India 2024, event at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. This visit gave them a chance to explore the world of semiconductors, interact with industry professionals, and learn about the exciting future of semiconductor technology. The experience provided invaluable exposure to the students, broadening their horizons beyond the classroom.
SEMICON India 2024, was a worldwide expo, inaugurated by our honorable prime minister Shree Narendra Modi in the esteem presence of Shree Yogi Aditya Nath, chief minister Uttar Pradesh along with delegates from around the world.
SEMICON India-2024, brought together innovators, startups, tech giants like SANSUNG, TOSHIBA, FUJIFILMS, TECH MAHINDRA, SMC etc., and thought leaders from around the world. It is a vibrant space where the future of semiconductors is being actively shaped and students and faculties got insights of cutting edge electronics and semiconductor technologies.
The event offered:
- Key Sessions on Semiconductor Manufacturing: Focused on how India is gearing up for domestic chip production.
- Discussions on AI & IoT: Exploring the role of semiconductors in the development of AI- driven technologies and smart devices.
- Interactive Panels: Where startups presented their groundbreaking innovations.
- Industry Experts’ Talks: Sharing insights on global trends, future opportunities, and the critical role India will play in the semiconductor world.
