The emphasis was particularly placed on the TRIPS (Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights) agreement. The IPR, Tech, and AI Centre at the School of Law successfully organized an expert talk on the topic “Balancing Acts: Navigating the Intersection of IPR and Competition Law.” The event was conducted online through the Google Meet platform and was attended by students eager to gain insights into the complex relationship between intellectual property rights (IPR) and competition law. The key organizers of the event were Dr Paramita Choudhury (Faculty Convenor, Mr. Chandrashekhar (Faculty Co-convenor) and Ms. Saloni Gupta (Student Convenor). The guest speaker for the event was Mr. Sugam Shine, Assistant Professor at Christ (deemed to be a university). Mr. Shine brought a wealth of experience in the field, making him an ideal speaker to guide students through the intricate aspects of IPR and competition law.

The event commenced with Mr. Chandrashekhar extending a warm welcome to Mr. Sugam Shine and introducing him to the audience.
