Experiential visit to India International Hospitality Expo (IHE) 2024 & HRANI Convention

On 5th and 6th August 2024, students from the School of Hospitality and Tourism at Galgotias University had the privilege of attending the India International Hospitality Expo (IHE) 2024 and the HRANI Convention. This visit was a significant part of their academic journey, offering them an immersive experience into the professional world of hospitality and tourism.

The India International Hospitality Expo (IHE) is recognized as one of the most prominent platforms for the hospitality industry in India and South Asia. It brings together a vast array of exhibitors, ranging from hotel and restaurant equipment suppliers to food and beverage producers, technology innovators, and design and decor experts. IHE 2024 was no exception, showcasing the latest trends and innovations shaping the future of hospitality. The expo featured over 500 exhibitors from across the globe, offering students a comprehensive view of the industry’s current and future landscape.

Students had the opportunity to explore a wide variety of exhibits, each providing a unique insight into different aspects of the hospitality industry. From cutting-edge kitchen technology and sustainable food packaging to luxury interior designs and advanced guest management systems, the expo covered all facets of the industry. The HRANI (Hotel and Restaurant Association of Northern India) Convention, held concurrently with IHE 2024, was another highlight of the visit. The convention featured a series of panel discussions, workshops, and keynote sessions led by industry veterans and thought leaders.
