School of Media and Communication Studies, Galgotias University has organized a thought-provoking debate on the topic- “Does promoting Ayurveda and Yoga impact modern healthcare’s scientific advancement?” on 27th April 2024. The event attracted keen participation from students and faculty. Ms. Anindya Avvayyam Ratan was the esteemed Judge for the event. On this event she also interacted with student and share her extensive experience of The Indian Express and Statesman. Her insights added depth to the deliberation.
The debate showcased the intellectual prowess of the participants. During debate we witness the clash of ideas and exchange of perspectives. Students who participated in this debate were Ankur Raj, Ansh Singh, Ananya Swami, Ayush Pratap, Shreya Tiwari, Isha Kumari, Dakshita Ojha, Sakshi Singh and Palak Verma.

The first prize was awarded to Isha Kumari, a fourth-semester student, followed by Ansh Singh, a second-semester student who secured the second prize. Ayush Pratap, also a second- semester student, clinched the third prize for his compelling arguments. Rest all the participants were given E- certificate of participants. Recognition was also extended to the event organizer, Kashish and Yash Tripathi, both fourth-semester students, for their meticulous planning and execution. Special acknowledgment was given to the Event Convener, Dr. Kumari Pallavi, for her guidance and support in making the event a success.
The event provided a platform for engaging discourse on the intersection of traditional practices and modern healthcare, fostering critical thinking and dialogue among the university community.
