The Training and Placement Team at the School of Computer Applications and Technology, Galgotias University, recently concluded an enriching two-hour workshop aimed at empowering students with vital skills for shaping their career paths and establishing a robust online presence. This workshop, meticulously crafted, focused on equipping participants with essential tools and knowledge to navigate the competitive job market effectively.
The event catered specifically to 140 MCA students, providing them with comprehensive guidance on leveraging platforms such as GitHub, LinkedIn, LeetCode, and others. These platforms were explored to help students enhance their digital profiles, engage actively in coding communities, manage repositories effectively on GitHub, and craft compelling resumes using online tools. Additionally, students were guided on the strategic use of LinkedIn for networking with potential employers and showcasing their professional achievements.
The workshop's primary objective was to prepare students for success in the digital era by boosting their online visibility and technical proficiency. By the end of the session, participants had gained valuable insights and practical skills essential for making informed career decisions and positioning themselves strongly in the competitive job market.
Through active participation and enthusiastic engagement, students not only acquired tangible skills but also laid the groundwork for future career growth and development. The event was a resounding success, empowering students to confidently navigate their career journeys with enhanced digital dexterity and strategic online presence.
