CNG-powered UP Roadways buses inaugurated by Galgotias University
Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh recently inaugurated a fleet of CNG-powered UP Roadways buses on the Rabupura to Botanical Garden-Noida route of Uttar Pradesh Roadways from Galgotias University. This initiative, part of efforts to enhance public transport in the region, aims to provide an eco-friendly and efficient commuting option for students, teachers, and other daily travelers. The route is expected to benefit approximately 30,000 students from institutions such as Galgotias University while also connecting residents to major urban centers in Noida.
The introduction of CNG buses highlights a commitment to environmental sustainability by reducing carbon emissions and pollution levels compared to conventional diesel vehicles. This aligns with the government's broader agenda to promote green energy solutions and combat climate change. Moreover, improved transport infrastructure will support Greater Noida's transformation into a hub for education and employment, complementing ongoing development projects such as the construction of Asia’s largest airport in the region.
This initiative not only contributes to environmental conservation but also ensures affordable, accessible, and sustainable transportation
