The event was inaugurated by UP Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay, who visited the university’s stall and experienced the electric solar bus, a sustainable, student-led innovation. This highlighted the university’s commitment to sustainability and real-world learning.
Galgotias University’s stall featured cutting-edge projects like the Wireless Electric Solar Bus, Go-Kart, 3D printing machines, and drones, alongside the iOS Development Program, a collaboration with Infosys and Apple. The Galgotias Incubation Centre (GICRISE) showcased startups like Vriskshit Ecomart, Kishan Drishti and Hydro-Based Drone, 4D E-Automotives, and WoodLumens, reflecting the university’s entrepreneurial prowess.
Distinguished visitors, including the ACEO of GNIDA Authority, school principals, and Army commandants, engaged with representatives, while the university celebrated its Paralympic and Khelo India stars.
At the valedictory ceremony, Galgotias University was awarded the prestigious Best Exhibitor Award, recognizing its outstanding contributions. The center currently supports over 100 startups, 40+ mentors, and partnerships with 28+ corporate and government organizations. Among the showcased startups were Vriskshit Ecomart, which produces eco-friendly, plantable products from waste, Kishan Drishti and Hydro-Based Drone by Aerowork Technologies, offering AI-driven smart farming solutions, 4D E-Automotives, featuring e-bicycles with sustainable energy batteries, and WoodLumens, showcasing LED lights with voice recognition technology. These startups reflect the innovative prowess and entrepreneurial mindset fostered by the university.
The Expo witnessed significant engagement from dignitaries, including ACEO of GNIDA Authority, Mr. Ashutosh Kumar Dwivedi, principals from five renowned schools, and Army commandants, who interacted with university representatives and students. These interactions highlighted the university’s relevance and impact on academic, technological, and community domains. Parents and aspiring students also demonstrated strong interest in the programs and initiatives showcased by the university.
In addition to its technological achievements, Galgotias University celebrated its success in sports. Paralympians and athletes like Preeti and Simran brought pride to the university with notable performances at the Khelo India Games, where Preeti earned bronze in the 100m and 200m races.
