"When i Came to college my aim was to be a part of the football team,a year later after securing it,I was named The Captain of the team.The confidence i received from my players,coach and our sports officer played a key part in my leadership.As they say that,”someone who has lost only knows the value of winning” well it proved to be true.We Had to face some tough times together as a team,when everything seemed to be falling apart.The boys showed some real character and we got back to winning ways.In the span of 1 year we won 7 trophies and all the credit goes to my players,our coach and Management behind us providing all the resources to us.”There is no substitute for hardwork” with that we keep preparing for the next challenge with grit and determination.Hopefully we can carry forward the Legacy of our seniors in the years to come"

Galgotias University's handball team participated in a tournament at IIT BHU on October 14, 2023, it is likely that the team was part of the Spardha festival or another handball tournament organized by the institute. The team was led by Captain Yuvraj Singh, Vice-Captain Alok Sharma, and Coach Prashant Bharadwaj, with Yash Pratap Singh receiving the Best Player Award and performing so well in the tournament and also increasing the moral of other team members. Overall, IIT BHU's handball program is a testament to the institute's emphasis on promoting sports and physical fitness among its students, and the success of its teams reflects the dedication and passion of its players.
