Badminton has a rich history dating back over 2,000 years, originating in Siam, China. Its introduction to England in 1870 marked a turning point, where it was initially played resembling tennis. The game's journey continued to Canada before making its way to America in 1929, where it gained significant popularity. This popularity eventually led to badminton becoming an Olympic sport. Notably, the bird speeds in badminton matches can reach up to 100 miles per hour, showcasing the sport's speed and intensity.
