About the Programme

This program aims to provide the highest accredited educational and clinical experiences that will render qualified, patient-focused, compassionate, critical thinkers Medical Radiology and imaging technologists for the community. After completion of this course , one should be able to do image acquisition , and image processing and handle all radiological and imaging equipment independently or as a healthcare team member. They should also be able to ensure radiation protection , and quality assurance, identify and manage emergency situations, provide empathetic professional patient care

Eligibility

"XII with Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) or XII with vocational subjects of Medical radiology and imaging technology or equivalent with a minimum 50% marks in the best four relevant subjects.

The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years"

Students having CUET Score will be given preference in merit.

Clinical Care : Apply core basic knowledge associated with the Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology profession which includes Ethics, Good Lab Practice, Quality Control and Patient Safety.

Communication in Radiology and Imaging Technology Practice : Develop an effective communication with patients, care-givers, other health professional’s members of community and procedures to perform to make an investigation reports.

Membership of a multidisciplinary health team : Distinguish and communicate within the team, including transparency about aims, decisions, uncertainty and mistakes to work collaboratively and professionally to accomplish goal and accurate result for patient.

Ethics and accountability in medical lab Practice Apply ethical principles and commit to core concepts of clinical ethics and law to practice as healthcare service providers in the field of Medical Lab Technology.
