About the Programme
The BA (Hons. with Research) in Journalism and Mass Communication is a 4-year undergraduate programme me aligned with NEP 2020, designed to shape ethical, skilled, and versatile media professionals. The course combines academic rigor with practical training in news writing, reporting, editing, multimedia production, and strategic communication across traditional and digital platforms.
Students gain hands-on experience through internships, fieldwork, and live media projects, while also engaging with critical themes like media ethics, democracy, and representation.
In the fourth year, eligible students (CGPA 7.5 or above) can undertake a faculty-guided research project or dissertation, earning a degree with Honours with Research. Graduates are equipped for roles in news media, digital platforms, communication firms, NGOs, and higher education or research.

XII with minimum 50% marks in aggregate
Students with a CUET / SAT (DI Code - 71057 ) score will be given preference in the merit list
For Migration from Other Universities:
1) B.A (Hons/Hons with Research) Journalism and Mass Communication Ist yr. minimum 50% marks or equivalent
2) XII with minimum 50% marks in aggregate
