About the Programme
This program offers dual advantages to students by combining a B.Com degree with the professional benefits of the ACCA qualification. Upon successful completion of the B.Com (International Accounting & Finance) program, students will receive a B.Com (International Accounting & Finance) degree from Galgotias University, along with ACCA Affiliate status, provided they qualify all non-exempted papers within the time frame specified by ACCA.
The program comprises 13 specialized courses, of which 9 (nine) are exempted and 4 (four) are non-exempted. Students must qualify all 4 non-exempted courses to become an ACCA Affiliate. These exempted papers are integrated into the curriculum itself.
Upon successful completion of the professional-level modules (SBL, SBR, and any two from AFM to AAA), students become eligible for ACCA Affiliate status. To obtain full ACCA membership, three years of relevant work experience are required.
The program's objective is to support students in achieving the ACCA qualification by integrating its examination framework into the B.Com curriculum. It includes subjects such as International Financial Management, Auditing, Financial Accounting and Reporting, among others. Additionally, the program details the structure and exemptions, registration process, exam entries, fee information, ACCA awards, training for non-exempt papers, study materials, Practical Experience Requirements (PER), and membership details.
