A solid foundation in agricultural and horticultural ideas and practices to be competitive internationally.

Enhanced problem-solving abilities that will help them develop a strong interest in agricultural and horticultural technologies, which will encourage them to pursue entrepreneurship and research.

Knowledge of protected cultivation and peri-urban agriculture to meet the needs of the expanding population and the changing environment, as well as disseminate technology for generating income and employment

To demonstrate written and oral communication.

Understand all aspects of agriculture and involvement of innovative farmers, scientists, extension workers, agro-industrial, students, dealers for agriculture development.

To enhance the employability of students by giving hands on training and experience learning for jobs in input delivery system, supply management/marketing, farming system development, agri-enterprises development, landscaping and hi-tech horticulture production system and in many other public and private sectors.
