About the Programme

The study of human behavior is of paramount importance in understanding how a human being behaves in a given situation, under the influence of varying external and internal factors. Applied Psychology has a varied and rich curriculum. Students are required to finish courses that investigate psychology from a philosophical and cultural standpoint, improve critical thinking skills, and aid in the development of a strong understanding of modern psychology subjects. The course aims to instill confidence, knowledge, and capability in both research and practical application as a result of the combination of courses given. This course examines how psychology is applied to work and in the community, and how psychological interventions might help real world problems. Applied Psychology has evolved to be one of the most important branch of Social Sciences in recent times, particularly when it comes to the prediction of individual human behavior.

Students in the program receive extensive research training, as they will do qualitative and quantitative research throughout their degree and complete an independent research project in their final year.

The bachelor's program in Applied Psychology provides practical exposure in terms of research and field practice. The weightage of these courses is more than 36%.

NOTE: For selected 3 Year Undergraduate programs, you have the option to continue for 4th year to obtain an Honours with Research Degree.

For Migration from Other Universities:

1) B.A (Hons) Psychology Ist yr. minimum 50% marks or 5.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale

2) 50% or above at XII level in Best Four relevant subjects

Students having CUET Score will be given preference in merit.
