Ms. Amrita Jha is associated with the School of Law, Galgotias University, as an Assistant Professor.

Formerly she has worked as an Assistant Professor at Vivekananda School of Law and Legal Studies, Delhi,and the Department of Legal Studies, Banasthali Vidyapith, Rajasthan.

She started her career in teaching law with KIIT School of Law, Bhubaneswar (Odisha) prior to working with Banasthali Vidyapith.

Prof Jha earned her B.A.LL.B (Hons.) from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU), Lucknow, and her LL.M in Business Laws from National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD in Business Laws at GNLU, Gandhinagar.

Prof Jha has got experience of various legal arenas while working with different NGOs, including Delhi Legal Services Authority (DLSA), reputed Law firms, including Suri & Company, PSUs like ONGC, and the Union Ministry of Law & Justice, GOI.

She has good exposure to court procedures and has closely worked with legal luminaries. She has honed her professional skills through many seminars, academic research projects, and UGC- sponsored courses. Also, she has closely worked with a learned Prof. (Dr.) Ashok R. Patil, Chair of Consumer Law and Practice (Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Government of India), Coordinator, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and NIRF, and with other renowned academicians of the country on different academic and legal research projects.

She has also chaired various Moot courts and client counseling training sessions organized at her alma mater and various workplaces. Her research interest includes Business Laws, Cyber Laws, Consumer Protection Laws, and Taxation Laws.
