Mrs. Hima Dutta Baruah is an experienced Clinical Research and Pharmacovigilance professional having completed M.Sc. Clinical Research (Cranfield University, UK), Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Research Management (ICRI, Delhi), and having over 15 years of experience with Clinical Research industries with the core competencies in the field of Clinical Research, Pharmacovigilance Operations, and Academia (Teaching, curriculum development, content writing of Clinical Research courses)
Currently, she is working with Galgotias University as an Assistant Professor in the Department Biosciences (Clinical Research Division). She is also serving as the Program Chair of Under Graduate programs of Clinical Research Division (Medical Biotechnology, Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, and Clinical Research). She is instrumental in the development of curriculum and contents for the clinical research courses, apart from teaching the UG & PG students.
Prior to that – she has rich industrial experience with esteem organization like Wipro, where she was managing the pharmacovigilance operations and projects for a Global Pharma Client which included end to end safety report processing through Oracle Argus. She also has worked with UnitedLex, the Global Litigation firm as Associate Medical Legal consultant.
She started her professional career with Fortis Escorts Hearts Institute and Research Centre in clinical research operation. She has proven expertise in clinical research business operations, administration & Clinical Data Management.
