Mr. Ajit Nag

Assistant Professor

Mr. Ajit Nag is an assistant professor at the department of Economics, school of Liberal education of Galgotias University, Dankaur, Uttar Pradesh, India. I am a dynamic and passionate individual dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge and the empowerment of others. Born and raised with an innate curiosity, I have always been drawn to exploring the intricacies of the world around them. From an early age, exhibited a thirst for learning, which led them to excel academically throughout their schooling years. This passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on others' lives inspired me to pursue higher education in the field of Economics.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D (thesis submitted) in Economics from Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, Odisha.
  • M.A in Applied Economics from Department of Economics, Pondicherry University, Puducherry.

Research Interests:

  • Health Economics, Development Economics, Poverty and Inequality, Global Issues in Development
  • Use data sets such as various rounds of Census of India, SRS,NFHS, RBI handbook, EPWRF, WDI. 
  • conducting field surveys and interviews, and creating both structured and unstructured questionnaires.
