People are still not aware of their basic rights due to which the legal aid movement has not achieved its desired goal yet. It is the absence of legal awareness which leads to exploitation and deprivation of rights of the poor. The cell works extensively to spread awareness among people by organizing camps and providing inexpensive local machinery for handling legal services of basic nature like legal advices, drafting petitions, notices, replies and other documents of legal importance.

  • Women Empowerment Cell

There are many challenges that are currently plaguing the women's rights in India like sexual harassment, domestic violence, dowry deaths and gender based discrimination. The cell works to empower women by spreading awareness about women rights, gender rights and sexual harassment by organizing workshops and nukkad nataks.

  • Right to Information Cell

Corruption is increasing in our country rapidly. People are not aware of the ways in which the public funds is being utilized. Thus, it is necessary to educate people about their right to information which helps them to gain information from the central and state government and various government agencies. RTI Cell works to spread awareness about the RTI and its filing mechanism.

  • Prison Research Cell
