Independence Day

India marked its 75th Independence Day as 'Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' to celebrate its freedom. The 15th of August, 2022 was a day filled with immense pride and joy for all Indians as we honored our heroes and freedom fighters who gave their lives for the noble cause of bringing us freedom, peace, and happiness. Galgotias University joined in the celebration of the 75th Independence Day with great pride and enthusiasm.

The day began with a warm welcome to the guest of honor, Major General Dr. Rajan Kocchar, who hoisted the national flag, followed by the National Anthem. The university recognized and awarded the meritorious and prize-worthy students, a testimony to their methodology and perseverance. The cultural program included dance, musical performances, and Nukkad Natak presented by various clubs and departments of the university in honor of the soldiers.

The event concluded with an eloquent speech by the council head, group photos, and refreshments with sweet distribution to all students and staff members.
