Since May 2012, He is working at Galgotias University, Greater Noida, UP. He has 19 years of ‘teaching and research’ experience. He is working as a Professor in the Division of Physics, School of Basic Sciences, Galgotias University.

He received a M.Sc. degree from Kalyani University, West Bengal. He qualified CSIR-UGC-NET with CSIR-JRF. He also qualified for GATE. He worked at the Department of Solid State Physics, IACS, Kolkata as CSIR-JRF and CAIR-SRF for PhD. He received his PhD Degree from Jadavpur University, Kolkata (2004). Then, he worked at NCTU, Taiwan as a postdoc for 7 months, he worked with Prof. S. Yagihara at Tokai University, Japan as a JSPS postdoc for 2 years. Then He worked at the Neutron Science Laboratory in ‘The University of Tokyo’ with Prof. M. Sibayama as a Research Associate for 2 years. Then he worked at the Jülich Center for Neutron Science (JCNS-1), the Institute of Complex Systems, Research Center Jülich, Germany with Dr. J. Stellbrink and Prof, D. Richter as a Research Scientist for 2 years 8 months. He worked for almost 8 years in Abroad.

He has received the Young Scientist Award from MRS Kolkata and received the prestigious “JSPS award” by JSPS, Government of Japan and also “The Bharat Ratna Dr. Abdul Kalam Gold Medal Award” by Global Economic Progress and Research Association, an NGO, Received the “Research and Innovation award 2019” by Galgotias University.

He has published 40 research papers in international journals and delivered 4 Invited talks and presented 33 papers as Oral and poster presentations in conferences.

For research, he is working in the field of Soft Condensed Matter Physics: especially on the structure-property relationship, structure, and dynamics of Complex macromolecules like Liquid Crystals, Polymers, Hydrogels, Lipids, DNA, etc.
