Assistant professor

Dr. S. Naveen is currently working as Assistant Professor in Department of Sociology, School of Liberal Education, Galgotias University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. He earned his Ph.D. in full time mode from Department of Sociology, School of Social, Financial & Human Sciences at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) Bhubaneshwar, Odisha, India. His doctoral research focused on “Policies, Programmes and Institutional Support for Tribal Women Empowerment in Andaman & Nicobar Islands.” He holds a Master's degree from University of Madras, Chennai, India and undergraduate degree from Pondicherry University, Puducherry, India. He has actively engaged in several National and International Conferences. Additionally, he has taken part in numerous nationally conducted workshops, further enhancing his knowledge and technical skills. His research interests are diverse and include domains like Policy Evaluations, Quantitative Research Methods, Tribal Studies, Sociology of Health, Rural Sociology, Environmental Sociology & Urban Sociology. His proficiency in various analytical tools, including IBM-SPSS, AMOS, VOSviewer and STATA. His dedication to his work has led to the publication of several papers in the in Scopus, Web of Science and ABDC listed journals. Presently he is engaged in joint venture with Professors from several universities of repute to gain insights on interdisciplinary research endeavor.
