Convocation 2022

"With proper direction and a sense of thought, vacant grounds can transition into the most elegant stagings." This was exemplified in the sixth convocation ceremony of Galgotias University for the batch of 2021, which took place on July 23rd, 2022 at Expo Mart, Knowledge Park II, Greater Noida. It was a momentous event that left a lasting impression on everyone's hearts. The student council worked tirelessly to ensure that the day was spectacularly made.

The event's success was the result of a sum of efforts in the leading tireless days and, not to forget, on the show day itself. At 9 am sharp, all the Core Team, the Club Heads, and Volunteers from the various clubs arrived at the destination. They worked together to make the event a success. The main event's commencement is a blurred memory that headlined the following: making the stage up for the performances, setting up the area for the guests of honor, directing the spectators into their assigned seats, helping maintain discipline, engaging the audience with musical performances, anchors trying to entertain the graduates, and some volunteers accompanying the staff to make the event a blast!

The honorable Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Balaji Pathak Ji, blessed the ceremony with his presence as the chief guest. Other guests of honor were professor Girish Chandra Tripathi, the Chairman of Uttar Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, who has previously served as the Vice-Chancellor of Banaras Hindu University, and professor of economics at the University of Allahabad. He was accompanied by Shri Dr. Mahesh Sharma Member of Parliament Lok Sabha and Shree Dhirendra Singha Member of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. The High Commissioner of Nigeria, H.E. Mr. Ahmed Sule, and Tejpal Singh Nagar, a member of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, were also present.

All the guests spoke about the importance of education in the present day. Their enlightening words also highlighted the topics of a bright and prosperous future for the youth and also the lack of education we face as a country. The students present there were the privileged ones who got the opportunity to study in Galgotias institution and that they are the ones to guide the country to a bright future. They also spoke about the parents and their importance in the core life of a kid. The meaning of family was well addressed and proved by the existence of emotional parents and celebrating hearts.

The Galgotias University Student Council was an active participant in the Convocation ceremony. The event turned out to be a grand success with joint forces of various clubs. All the club heads of different clubs along with 5 volunteers each, were present at the ceremony. NoteVeda, the music club of our council, with their band of some very talented singers and musicians performed different songs and added an extra flavor to an already jubilant event. The Galgotias Management team, as effective as ever, effortlessly managed diverse responsibilities right from distributions of certificates and mementos to the previous heads and core team of the aforementioned batch to discipline and regulations of the set-up. The Stage Management team very competently and adeptly managed the need of the hour and worked their piece in making the event a feat. CamCircle, the photographers' club, took some very momentous shots that one could look at and cherish hereafter. The coming up of the council together as one team was what made the event a memorable and exceptional occurrence.
