Dr. Nilesh N. Maltare, who earned his PhD in Computer Engineering from Gujarat Technological University in 2020, is an Assistant Professor at Government Engineering College, Modasa, Gujarat. With 16 years of teaching and over 10 years of research experience, he has published more thirteen papers, holds two patents, and authored a PhD thesis titled “An Adaptive Design Pattern for Parallel
Programming.” His research focuses on the Internet of Things, Machine Learning, and Parallel Processing, where he develops scalable solutions for complex computational challenges. Dr. Maltare is also deeply involved in mentoring students and guiding research projects. Dr. Maltare began by introducing the concept of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and its growing significance in modern industries. He then delved into the analytics aspect, explaining how data generated from IIoT devices can be effectively harnessed to improve operational efficiency, predictive maintenance, and decision-making processes.
