The Vikram Sarabhai Space Science Exhibition, held at Galgotias University from 1st to 3rd August 2024, was a significant success, drawing over 10,000 students and 3,219 visitors. This exhibition, part of the National Space Day Celebrations 2024, aimed to ignite interest in space science among young learners through interactive and educational experiences. Highlights included interactions with ISRO scientists, state-of-the-art exhibits, a Mobile Space Bus showcasing rocket building, and live water rocket launching demos. The event was inaugurated by Shri Nilesh M. Desai, Director of the Space Applications Centre, ISRO, and featured a special guest appearance by Dr. Rajendra Singh, the 'Waterman of India.' The exhibition also engaged the community, including students from government and private schools, NGOs, and special needs organizations. The positive feedback underscored the event's success in fostering scientific curiosity and enthusiasm for space science, contributing to the educational enrichment of students and increasing engagement in related subjects. Galgotias University expressed gratitude to the Space Applications Centre, ISRO, and the entire VSSE team for organizing the event and looks forward to hosting similar initiatives in the future.

Vikram Sarabhai Space Science Exhibition, held over three days, from 1st August to 3rd August 2024 at Galgotias University, Greater Noida, proved to be a monumental success, attracting nearly 10000+ students in three days. The event aimed to ignite interest in space science among young learners and provide a platform for interactive and educational experiences. This is really an exceptional initiative as a part of The National Space Day Celebrations 2024.

The exhibition aimed to showcase the fascinating journey of the Indian Space Program, from the launch of Aryabhata to the recent achievements with Chandrayaan-3 and Aditya L-1. The event featured engaging and interactive exhibits, working models, and opportunities for students to interact with ISRO scientists. Visitor Statistics:

The exhibition received overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees, including students, teachers, and the general public. The interactive exhibits and direct interactions with ISRO scientists were particularly appreciated. The event successfully inspired young minds and sparked interest in space science and technology.   1. Interaction with Senior Scientists:
  • Renowned Senior Scientists and the team of Science Communicators had interaction with each batch of students covering topics ranging from the basics of astronomy to the latest advancements in space exploration.
  • Q&Ans sessions were held, providing students with the opportunity to interact directly with experts and deepen their understanding.
  1. Interactive Displays and Exhibits:
  • The exhibition featured state-of-the-art interactive displays and Informative Panels were displayed and our students who worked as Child Scientists to explain the details of each model and captivated the visitors.
  1. Mobile Space Bus Exhibition:
  • Space on Wheels Mobile Bus Exhibits which showed the process of Rocket Building and Rocket Launching was very engaging.
  1. Live Water Rocket Launching Demo:
  • It has been one of the most mesmerizing moments for all visitors in each batch where they had an opportunity to experience launching of the water rocket, which energized each visitor.
