Department of Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering has organized a Seminar titled “Different Vacuum Electronics Devices and it’s application”. The Key Speaker was an eminent Researcher Prof. (Dr.) Arjun Kumar, from NIT Jamshedpur. He has enlightened the participants with his broad spectrum of knowledge in Microwave Domain. The event was conducted on 09-Nov, 2023 (Thursday) from 12:00 noon to 01:30pm.
Approximately 100 participants had registered and attended this Seminar. Event was hosted on Zoom portal through online mode and managed flawlessly by Ms Ankita Bajpai. A formal introduction to the Topic and about the Profile of Dr. Arjun Kumar was shared by Prof. (Dr.) Amit Arora. Welcome address was delivered by Dr. Lokesh Varshney, HoD-DEECE. Dr Arjun kumar has started his lecture with basics of Microwave tubes, high power microwave tubes followed by conventional magnetron, relativistic klystron. He also clarified the working principle of MILO, Gyrotron tubes. He tabulates the application and advantages of microwave tubes. Votes of thanks have given by Dr. Usha Chauhan. Overall a very Positive feedback have been received from the participants both students as well as faculty members.
