This Policy applies to all the Students and Staff

Purpose

To establish meaningful and effective partnerships with regional NGOs and governments to advance SDGs and create positive social and environmental impact.

Policy

  1. Articulate specific objectives to achieve through partnerships with regional NGOs and governments.
  2. Establishment of criteria for selecting regional NGOs and government agencies as partners. 
  3. Outline different collaboration models, such as joint projects, capacity building initiatives, advocacy campaigns, or knowledge-sharing platforms, and define the roles and responsibilities of each partner.
  4. Define communication channels and mechanisms for coordinating activities with partner organizations, including regular meetings, progress reports, and conflict resolution procedures.
  5. Determine how resources, including funding, staff time, and technical expertise, will be allocated to support partnership activities and ensure mutual benefit for all parties involved.
  6. Identify potential risks and challenges associated with partnership engagements, such as political instability, funding constraints, or conflicting priorities, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  7. Track progress against predefined indicators, and incorporate lessons learned into future initiatives.
  8. Articulate ethical principles and guidelines for engaging with partner organizations, including principles of transparency, accountability, respect for human rights, and cultural sensitivity.
  9. Develop an exit strategy for concluding partnerships once objectives are met or if circumstances change.
  10. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing partnerships with NGOs and government agencies, including data protection, intellectual property rights, and anti-corruption measures.
  11. Prioritize capacity building and knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance the capabilities of partner organizations and promote mutual learning and innovation.
  12. Emphasize the importance of engaging local communities and stakeholders in partnership activities to ensure their active participation, ownership, and empowerment.
