National Symposium on “Next Generation Science and Technology”

Two-days 3rd National Symposium on “Next Generation Science and Technology” (on the Occasion of National Science Day) was organized on 2nd -3rd March 2022 by Division of Life Sciences, Department of Biosciences, School of Basic and Applied Sciences, Galgotias University. The event themed on “Integrated approach in science and technology for a sustainable future” as per DST, Govt. of India.

The event was Inaugurated in the presence Prof. P.K. Sharma, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Galgotias University, Prof. A. K. Jain, Dean, SBAS, Prof. Munish Sabharwal, Dean, Computer Science & Engineering, Prof. P.K.S. Nain, Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Invited speaker Mr. Akhilesh Jain, Consultant, EV Motor. All the dignitaries delivered the preamble of the event and motivated the students and faculties to come up with own innovative ideas for the science and technology. Invited speaker Mr. Akhilesh Jain, Consultant, EV Motor gave the talk on the electric vehicles (EV) specially e-bikes. He motivated the participants about the electric vehicles, its future and significance. Total of 148 participants including UG, PG, PhD students and 40 faculties of the University participated for this event. Students actively participated in model exhibitions and quiz competition. A total of 24 models were exhibited. On day two students were delivered oral talk followed by poster presentation and rangoli/collage competition.
