National Science Day 2022 celebration

Galgotias University celebrated the National Science Day 2022 with a motto of Integrated Approach in S&T for Sustainable Future'. Various students prepared projects following the same theme. One of the students prepared a model for Harvesting Rainwater for saving drinking water has gained enormously in significance as modern water saving sanitary technique. This can be used for private and public buildings as well as for many industrial areas. Beyond that rainwater harvesting plays an important role for the rainwater (storm water) management of housing estates. RWH system provides sources of soft, high quality water reduces dependence on well and other sources and in many contexts are cost effective. RWH system is economically cheaper in construction compared to other sources, i.e. well, canal, dam, diversion, etc.
