NAAC Awareness Program

The School of Computer Application & Technology (SCAT) at Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology organized a two-day NAAC Awareness Program on the 18th and 19th of November 2024 in Room No. C201. The program aimed to familiarize faculty and coordinators with the NAAC accreditation process, focusing on the Self-Study Report (SSR) Manual, the Distribution of Weightages across the 7 Criteria, and the 34 Key Indicators (KIs).

The event began with an inaugural address by Dr. Vineeta Khemchandani (Dean, SCAT), Dr. Kavita, and Dr. Akhilesh Kumar Singh, who highlighted the importance of NAAC accreditation in institutional development. Overall Criteria Coordinators presented detailed sessions on their respective criteria, covering essential documentation, evaluation metrics, and implementation strategies.

Interactive sessions provided a platform for faculty to resolve queries and share best practices. The program successfully equipped participants with the knowledge and tools needed to contribute to the institution’s quality assurance and accreditation efforts.
