Model exhibition competition

Event Date: 24th April 2024

Model exhibitions can be a great way to showcase innovative ideas, projects, and designs. Galgotias School of Nursing organised model exhibition competition on 24th April 2024 started at 10.00Am, a variety of anatomical models were made by students of 5th semester and 2nd semester that demonstrate different aspects of human anatomy. These included skeletal models, muscular models, models of organs, and models showing systems like the circulatory or nervous system. Ensure that the models are "working" in the sense that they accurately represent how the human body functions. For example, if showcasing a cardiovascular model, it should demonstrate how blood flows through the heart and vessels. By carefully curating the models, providing informative content, and offering interactive experiences, faculties of Galgotias school of Nursing created an engaging and educational exhibition that fosters a deeper understanding and appreciation of the complexity of the human body.

Planning and Preparation

Few points were considered during preparation and planning of model exhibition are as follows:

  • Determine the purpose of the exhibition (e.g., education, awareness, fundraising).
  • Define the target audience and their expected level of knowledge (e.g., students, medical professionals, general public).
  • Articulate the scientific principles behind their models and answer questions from visitors.

Implementation

Students with help of their mentor implemented the ideas, collected the fund and started working on the mechanism of the model. After doing lot of research how to show the mechanism of different body systems how they work finally their models turns out to be a success. And was working really great and explanation was to the point to make a person know what their model is about.

Participation

B.sc Nursing batch 2nd semester and 5th semester students participated in the model exhibition one group of 10 students were there including 110participants.

Challenges and Solutions

The challenges we faced during implementation of ideas we thought, that how to execute the physiological process of human being. After doing lot of research and watched multiple videos for references at last we finally got some innovative ideas and we succeed to execute it very efficiently.
