To bridge the gap between Academia Institution and Research Institution of National Repute and to promote collaborative research a MoU has been signed between Galgotias University and National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI) Karnal on 28th Feb. 2025 at NDRI Karnal. Potential areas for collaborative research, in the area of dairy production, dairy processing, dairy management and animal Biotechnology will be identified and recorded in subsequent research specific agreement(s) that set out appropriate and relevant contributions by both the parties.
To sign the MoU with the NDRI Karnal Dr Nitin Kumar Gaur, Registrar of the University, Prof. (Dr.) Abhimanyu Kumar Jha, Dean School of Biosciences and Technology (SBT) and Prof. (Dr.) R S Sharma Distinguished Professor, SBT went to the NDRI Karnal in the morning of 28th Feb. 2025.
At the NDRI the contents of the MoU were crossed checked with the officials of both the Institutions and also all the necessary paper work was completed. The MoU was then signed by Dr Ranjan Sharma, Joint Director, NDRI on behalf of the NDRI Karnal and by Dr Nitin Kumar Gaur, Registrar of the Galgotias University in the presence of the Director, NDRI, Karnal Dr Dheer Singh, Prof. (Dr.) Abhimanyu Kumar Jha, Dean School of Biosciences and Technology (SBT) and Prof. (Dr.) R S Sharma Distinguished Professor, SBT, Galgotias University.
After the signing of the MoU, all dignitaries visited the National Dairy Mela and Agro Expo being organized by the NDRI within the campus of the Institute, where faculty members and officials of the University had interaction and discussion with other scientists and even Ph.D. and PG students of the Institute. All possible areas and discipline for future collaborations were discussed.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between Galgotias University, Greater Noida, and the National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI), Karnal, was held on 28th February 2025 at NDRI, Karnal, Haryana. Upon arrival at NDRI, the representatives engaged in a detailed review of the MoU in collaboration with officials from both institutions. After ensuring all necessary formalities and paperwork were completed, the MoU was officially signed. Dr. Ranjan Sharma, Joint Director, NDRI, signed the document on behalf of NDRI, while Dr. Nitin Kumar Gaur, Registrar, signed on behalf of Galgotias University. The signing ceremony was conducted in the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Dr. Dheer Singh, Director of NDRI, Karnal; Prof. (Dr.) Abhimanyu Kumar Jha, Dean, School of Biosciences and Technology (SBT); and Prof. (Dr.) R. S. Sharma, Distinguished Professor, SBT, Galgotias University.
Following the signing ceremony, all dignitaries and faculty members had the opportunity to visit the National Dairy Mela and Agro Expo, which was being hosted at NDRI’s campus.
