Kisan Goshti (Awareness Workshop) organized at adopted Village

School of Agriculture, Galgotias University and Krishi Vigyan Kendra, District Gautam Buddha Nagar jointly organized Kisan Gosthi at Kanarsa-Kanarasi village to discuss new innovations in agriculture with the farmers. 

Galgotias University in the adopted village will work towards providing food and nutritional security, socio-economic upliftment to the farmers to lead a comfortable life with minimum environmental degradation. 

Dr. Mayank Rai, Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, District Gautam Buddha Nagar, said that for the first time, a private university, Galgotias University, has adopted a village for development and organized a common platform for students, farmers and scientists together. This is very amazing and unprecedented in itself. Block heads, village heads and farmers wholeheartedly appreciated the efforts made by the scientists of Galgotias University.
