Industrial visit to Yakult Danone Pvt Ltd

Students were given a comprehensive tour of Yakult's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, where they witnessed the entire production process firsthand. They observed the meticulous steps involved in the production of Yakult's probiotic drinks, from sourcing high-quality ingredients to bottling and packaging. Emphasis was placed on quality control measures and adherence to stringent standards throughout the manufacturing process. The process was explained by Mrs Saniya. It was followed by a brief presentation given by Ms. Deepika Rajbhar, Jr. executive QA Science and PR on the history and evolution of Yakult Company. It provided students with insights into its humble beginnings and subsequent growth into a global brand. Students learned about the founder's vision, the company's core values, and its commitment to promoting health and wellness through probiotics. Students gained an understanding of Yakult's robust research and development initiatives aimed at continuously improving product quality and efficacy. They were introduced to the scientific principles behind probiotics and the ongoing efforts to innovate and develop new products to meet consumer demands. An overview of Yakult's distribution channels and marketing strategies shed light on how the company reaches its target audience effectively. Students learned about Yakult's unique direct-to-consumer sales model and its emphasis on building strong relationships with customers.
The industrial visit provided students with a deeper understanding of the probiotic beverage industry and the role of Yakult Company within it.
Witnessing the manufacturing process firsthand helped students appreciate the importance of quality control and adherence to standards in ensuring product integrity.
Learning about Yakult's history, research, and distribution channels inspired students and highlighted the importance of innovation and customer-centricity in business success. It was followed by Q&A session. It was a very knowledgeable and educational visit for our students. The students were accompanied by the following faculty members- Dr Fatima Qasim Hasan, Mr. Mathew Thomas, Dr Ranjul Rastogi, Mr Himanshu Gupta.
