Galgotia Hotel

The Special Hospitality Management Practicum at Galgotias Hotel, held on January 10, 2024, was a transformative experience for first-semester students in the BSc HM and BHM programs at Galgotias University. This day-long immersion into the practical aspects of the hospitality industry aimed to enrich students' understanding and ignite their passion for this dynamic field.

The highlight of the day was the intimate interaction with the General Manager, who shared invaluable insights and anecdotes, emphasizing the real-world scenarios and opportunities within the hospitality industry. This personalized session served as a bridge between theoretical knowledge and the dynamic, ever-evolving nature of the field.

As the day unfolded, students engaged in practical learning, exploring different departments of the hotel under the guidance of their faculty members. The midday team-building activity, while kept minimal in focus, aimed to reinforce collaboration and camaraderie among students.

The day concluded with a debriefing and feedback session, where students had the opportunity to reflect on their experiences, share insights, and engage in discussions with faculty members and Hotel Executives.
