To raise awareness about this initiative, the Legal Awareness Cell of the Legal Aid Clinic and the Pro Bono Club of the School of Law, Galgotias University, organized a successful camp at Bihari Lal Inter College, Dankaur. The camp’s objective was to empower students with knowledge about the scheme and its role in ensuring basic rights like education, healthcare, and nourishment for underprivileged children. Volunteers explained the eligibility criteria, benefits, and application process, enabling students to understand how families could access these vital services. 

The event was highly interactive, encouraging students to ask questions and share their perspectives. This approach not only deepened their understanding of the scheme but also instilled a sense of social responsibility. Through active participation, students recognized the significance of supporting vulnerable children and contributing to societal development. The camp thus combined education with a call to action, inspiring young minds to create a more equitable society.

With the primary goal of guaranteeing the protection, welfare, and development of children— especially those who are vulnerable because of situations like orphanhood, abandonment, or financial instability—the Uttar Pradesh government launched the significant social welfare program known as the UP Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojna. The program’s goal is to give underprivileged kids a safety net by giving them access to essential services like social security benefits, financial aid, and healthcare and education. Through the provision of essential assistance to children from underprivileged backgrounds, the program seeks to foster a more welcoming atmosphere in which all children, irrespective of their origins, can enjoy greater quality of life and prospects for a promising future.

The volunteers patiently explained the eligibility criteria, the benefits provided under the scheme, and the steps that families needed to take in order to receive the assistance. Bihari Lal Inter College students eagerly participated in the event, eager to learn how government programs such as the Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojna could positively impact children’s lives. The camp was not just about imparting knowledge; it also aimed to inculcate a sense of social responsibility in the students.
