ACME (Cultural & Technical Society) of DEECE for the students and Teachers' Day Celebration
Event Date: 05th September 2024
On 5th of September, a grand event was organized by the Department of Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering to celebrate the dual occasion of Teacher’s Day and the inauguration of the much-anticipated Cultural & Technical Society (ACME). The event was graced by the presence of Dean Academics, Dr. Rama, Associate Dean Academics, Dr. Anshul Sharma, Dean Engineering, Dr. Sudhir, Head DEECE, Dr. Meenakshi Awsathi, faculty members and students.
Opening Ceremony and the inauguration
The program began with the inauguration of ACME by the respected Deans and HOD, who addressed the students about the importance of cultural society and the importance of Teacher’s day.
The student coordinators were Nitesh Kumar Pal, Deepak Kumar, Md. Adnan Khan, and Anirudh Dwivedi.
Anchoring was conducted by Manish and Dolly Parihar.
Cultural Performance
Following the inauguration and the teacher’s day tribute, the event shifted to the much-awaited cultural performance by the student:
1st: A wonderful and energetic Ganesh Vandana was performed by the Jiya.
2nd: A wonderful duet dance was performed by Kratika and Sanjana.
3rd: A poem was recited by Tanusha that mesmerized the audience.
4th: An electrifying standup comedy was performed by Gaurav. It had the audience roaring with laughter.
5th: A beautiful song was sung by Dr. Manasi Pattnaik, Assistant Professor, DEECE.
6th: A solo dance was performed by Kratika.
7th: An electrifying dance was performed by Tanveen.
8th: A classical dance was performed by Shalini.
9th: A wonderful song sung by Kratika.
10th: Again, a heartfelt and speechless poem was performed by Tanusha.
11th: A wonderful and energetic Bhangra performance was performed by Rabdeep.
12th: A fashion show was performed by the students of DEECE which really shows all the creativity, style and the all-ages of the period (ancient, medieval, and the modern period). Concept: Ms. Rajni Parashar
Event Outcome
The event concluded with the vote of thanks, delivered by the HOD who expressed the gratitude towards all the society head, coordinators and the participants, resounding success of the inauguration of ACME and the celebration of Teacher’s Day.
The inauguration of ACME marked the beginning of the new era of cultural involvement in the DEECE, and the event was a memorable celebration of talent, creativity, and gratitude towards teacher-student relationship.
