5th International Symposium on Next Generation Science and Technology, was organized by GUSCIENTIA Club, School of Basic Sciences, and the Department of Life Science, School of Biosciences and Technology, Galgotias University, in collaboration with the Advanced Optical Materials Research Group, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Malaysia, and Pulse Foundation, Greater Noida.

The symposium began with a warm welcome to the distinguished guests, followed by an engaging discussion on opportunities for setting up research laboratories and feedback on GSCALE initiative at Galgotias University. Esteemed academics, including Prof. (Dr.) K. Mallikharjuna Babu, Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Avadhesh Kumar, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeev Kumar Singh, Dean (SBS), Prof. (Dr.) Sunita Sharma, Associate Dean (SBS), Dr Sarita Mallik (HoD, Department of Life Sciences, SBT) interacted with the attendees during this session.

The opening ceremony was followed by a series of invited talks, featuring notable speakers who shared their expertise in various areas of science and technology. Dr. Pravin Kumar, Scientist G, IUAC, Delhi delivered an insightful talk on "Inter University Accelerator Centre - Infrastructure, Research Program, and Opportunities," highlighting the advanced research facilities and collaborative prospects in accelerator-based sciences. Second speaker Dr. Shruti Agrawal, Oncologist, Pulse Foundation, Greater Noida, presented on "Cervical Cancer and Vaccination," emphasizing the importance of early detection, preventive measures, and the role of vaccination in reducing cervical cancer prevalence. Third speaker of the day, Dr. Sumit Murab, IIT Mandi discussed "Biomaterials for Bone Tissue Engineering," exploring innovative biomaterial applications in regenerative medicine and their impact on orthopedic treatments. The event concluded with oral presentations from international and national participants, followed by a certificate distribution ceremony, a vote of thanks, and high tea, marking the end of a successful and enriching symposium.

5th International Symposium on Next Generation Science and Technology, was organized by GUSCIENTIA Club, School of Basic Sciences, and the Department of Life Science, School of Biosciences and Technology, Galgotias University, in collaboration with the Advanced Optical Materials Research Group, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Malaysia, and Pulse Foundation, Greater Noida. on 28th February 2025 in the New Auditorium (C-Block). The theme of this symposium, “Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science and Innovation for Viksit Bharat,” was designed to celebrate National Science Day and explore the critical role of young minds in shaping the future of science and technology.

The event commenced at 10:00 AM with a warm welcome to the distinguished guests at B Block, followed by an engaging discussion on opportunities for setting up research laboratories. During this session, attendees had the chance to meet and greet several esteemed academics, including Prof. (Dr.) K. Mallikharjuna Babu, Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Avadhesh Kumar, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeev Kumar Singh, Dean (SBS), Prof. (Dr.) Abhimanyu Kumar Jha, Dean (SBT), Prof. (Dr.) Sunita Sharma, Associate Dean (SBS), Dr. Sarita Mallik, HOD (SBT), and Prof. (Dr.) Anuradha Singh, PCR (SBT).

The opening ceremony began at 11:00 AM and was followed by a series of invited talks, starting with Dr. Pravin Kumar, Scientist G at IUAC, Delhi, who delivered a lecture from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. This was followed by Dr. Shruti Agrawal, Medical Officer at Pulse Foundation, Greater Noida, speaking from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM. After a lunch break from 1:15 PM to 2:00 PM, the program resumed with an insightful talk by Dr. Sumit Murab, Assistant Professor at the School of Biosciences & Bioengineering, IIT Mandi, from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM. The afternoon session included oral presentations from both international andnational participants from 2:45 PM to 4:30 PM. The event concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, a vote of thanks, and high tea from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM, marking a successful and informative day.
