Programs Overview
The objective of this program is to produce design engineers and manufacturing professionals with expertise in the development and application of the state-of-the-art knowledge-oriented software tools for product design, rapid manufacturing, automation, quality assurance, and cost-effectiveness. Candidates with degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Mechatronics are eligible.

M.Tech. Automobile Engineering is a two year post graduate programme dealing with design of vehicles, manufacturing new products/new vehicle, repairing, servicing vehicles. It also deals with the designing, developing, manufacturing, testing and repairing and servicing automobiles such as cars, trucks, motorcycles, scooters etc & the related sub-engineering systems. Automobile Engineering uses the features of different elements of Engineering such as mechanical, electrical, electronics, software and safety engineering

Eligibility Notes: A Master's degree from a recognized Indian University or any other equivalent degree to the satisfaction of the Academic Council of the University, in the relevant field, with not less than 55% marks in aggregate or 6.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale or equivalent.
Note: Candidates who have qualified in UGC NET/CSIR (JRF) Examination/SLET/GATE/Teacher Fellowship holder or have passed M.Phil. Programmes are exempted from Written Examinations. Click Here to know more
