Prof. Vincenzo PiuriProfessor ,
School of Computing Science & Engineering

Vincenzo Piuri is Full Professor at the University of Milan, Italy (since 2000), where he was also Department Chair (2007-2012). He was Associate Professor at Politecnico di Milano, Italy (1992-2000), visiting professor at the University of Texas at Austin, USA (summers 1996-1999), and visiting researcher at George Mason University, USA (summers 2012-2017).

He founded a start-up company, Sensure srl, in the area of intelligent systems for industrial applications (leading it from 2007 until 2010) and was active in industrial research projects with several companies.

He received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Italy.

His main research and industrial application interests are: intelligent systems, computational intelligence, pattern analysis and recognition, machine learning, signal and image processing, biometrics, intelligent measurement systems, industrial applications, distributed processing systems, internet-of-things, cloud computing, fault tolerance, application-specific digital processing architectures, and arithmetic architectures.

Prof Valentina E BalasAssociate Professor

Valentina E. Balas is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Automatics and Applied Software at the Faculty of Engineering, University “Aurel Vlaicu” Arad (Romania).

She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Electronics and Telecommunications from Polytechnic University of Timisoara since 2003. She is author of more than 140 research papers in refereed journals and International Conferences. Her research interests are in Intelligent Systems, Fuzzy Control, Soft Computing, Smart Sensors, Information Fusion, Modeling and Simulation, Electronics, Measurements and System Theory She is Editor-in Chief to International Journal of Advanced Intelligence Paradigms (IJAIP), member in Editorial Boards for national and international journals, serves as reviewer for many International Journals and conferences and is evaluator expert for national and international projects

She participated in many international conferences as General Chair, Organizer, Session Chair and member in International Program Committee.

Dr Munish SabharwalProfessor(CSE) and Dean

Dr. Munish Sabharwal is Professor & Dean, School of Computing Science & Engineering, Galgotias University, Greater Noida (UP) India. He is also Adjunct Professor- Faculty of Applied Mathematics and IT-Samarkand State University, Samarkand, Uzbekistan.

He is PhD (Computer Science S) and PhD (Management) and also has a PGDM (International Trade) from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune, an M.Tech (Computer Science) from IASE University, Sardarshahr and a B.E. (Computer Technology) from Nagpur University, Nagpur. He is also MCSD and MCP Certified. He has contributed over 21+ years in Teaching (CS and MIS), Education Management in leadership roles, Research as well as S/W Development. He possesses valuable insights, keen analysis & team approach to implement best practices in Computer Education.

He has 10+ yrs. of research experience, has published more than 55+ research papers in conferences and Journals indexed in SCI, ESCI, Scopus etc. He is board member as well as reviewer for a number of leading indexed research journals and has three books to his credit. He is guiding 7 PhD Scholars and his current research interests include Data Sciences (AI & ML), Biometrics & E-Banking. He has been awarded as the “Best Senior Researcher 2018” in Dec 2018 at “Global Education and Corporate Leadership Awards.”

He International Exposure includes USA, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Full Time Employment), Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, UAE (Adjunct / Interim Assignments) and visited Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand and other Middle-East Countries (Academic Assignments). He has taught at the international level in a multi-cultural faculty and an interdisciplinary environment at like at Faculty of Applied Mathematics and IT-Samarkand State University, Samarkand (Uzbekistan), MIS DepartmentJazan University (Saudi Arabia) and at the Faculty of IT and Mathematics in Issyk-Kul State University, Karakul & Kyrgyz Technical University, Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan). I addition to the above, he has 2+ yrs. of corporate experience, including working as a software analyst in US.

He has more than 15 Professional Memberships and Research Associations with organizations like IAENG, TAEI, ACM, IEEE, IET, CSI, AIMA, YHAI, IACSIT, IRED, ASI, AAAI, AIS, CSTA etc.

He has special fondness for teaching, with 18+ yrs. of teaching experience ranging from the rank of a lecturer to the rank of a professor whilst concurrently holding administrative positions. His teaching philosophy is that the goal of education should be to promote seeking answers, as it is in this way that we advance.
